Highlight Of the month
Daryadil Cafe Mansoon special cafe had around 150 people. Parents, students, friends of adda, they bring their gifts of oneness, danced, sing, drumming, talking, making new friends eating healthy and tastier food prepared by our junior chefs. It was an overwhelming moment when mothers came up in front and lived their childhood or youthhood once again, they sang Kajari, played cooperative games and other folk songs of ‘Saavan’ (Monsoons). This time the team decorated the whole space on the theme of monsoon.
COMMUNITY MEDIA LAB
Nonverbal communication and expression!!
We had a three-day workshop on nonverbal communication and expression was conducted by Zeba. The workshop made use of tools from the theater, deep meditation and comic making. The idea was to give participants space to creatively express themselves, strengthen ties and at the same time explore different challenges faced by them , see those challenges from different perspectives.
Our community media team learning and creating video effects. The media team has been discussing and watching some videos to get an idea to work on their next video. MaayaJal a video based on, current scenario of youth and children about fashion and technology, made by our community media lab students.
Abshishek, 11th class, is working hard and self-exploring various video effects on after effects. Here is a link of Cloning effect created by him

SLOW FOOD JUNIOR CHEF’S ACADEMY
Yum! Yes our cuisine is expanding!
our junior chefs learned, how to make the traditional recipes: raw banana fry. It looks like a south Indian recipe (vazhakkai varuval). Akshay, 7th one of the junior chef asked how to serve it? So Shashank shared that it is a starter recipe and we can serve it with plain rasam rice, sambhar rice, curd rice, etc.
It was good to see Mandeep, 8th one of our junior chef leading the group student Zone and the dish was innovatively titled as Veg Manchurian bhel !! And it was yum to say the least.
Next was, chaklies!! Our junior chefs were learning how to make chaklies it was strange we don’t have the mood to make it in proper shape. So what next, so our junior chefs came with their creativity and made it by hand and gave some interesting shapes. cooked Chinese snacks called Veg gold coins, cheese pocket pizza, and Malai roll and made besan ladoos in their sweet special week.
DESIGN STUDIO AND MAKER SPACE
Design Studio and Maker Space team members as they engaged in many different, hands-on activities. Sadaat, the hub’s facilitator, always tries to bring in new ideas and wants to let our free learners to explore things that are of benefit for themselves, their families as well as the wider community. This included the construction of a water-level indicator which has different lights to inform about the water tank levels — red indicates overflow, green means adequate level, and yellow stands for medium-level. Renovated old wood and making a table out of it.

In the last daryadil cafe we face an issue of adjusting the projector between the performance. So our design studio and maker space made a hanging projector stand with old waste wood on their own and it has come out quite nicely and we are using it ever since.
DANCE MUSIC AND ART ACADEMY
Dance
The students from the dance hub were busy with learning and practicing two new challenging choreographies. Dancers were doing cardio exercise to make become fit and come out from their comfort zone.
Rehearsing choreographies in the dance hub of Creativity Adda does not only mean to learn specific dance steps. Instead, the students work on their attitude and performance skills. Energy, charisma and confidence are keywords for the students in the dancing hub.
Music Hub
The students were busy exploring the foundations of music and preparing some new songs. They spent time learning the basics of playing the guitar and the harmonium leaning Raag Pahadi for a bhajan.

SPORTS AND FITNESS HUB
SPORTS & PASSION!!! The members of our Sports Hub are ever keen on deepening their skating skills and learning new tricks and techniques. This month they practiced advanced skating techniques including doing the ‘backward eight’ and ‘forward eight.’ Prashant, 6th class, is one of our upcoming skating stars.

Table tennis players were working hard for their upcoming tournament and building on their skills.
Council team action !!!
After coming from a retreat, councilors are highly charged and excited to contribute more to Adda. They arranged a meeting with students and shared their roles, responsibilities, and duties. They also formed small teams to take care of Adda and add some new ideas to co-create and sustain the Adda experience. It was nice to see the ownership and leadership among the councilors.
Dish Washing Unit !!!
Saving water!!!
Saving water and dishwashing unit to wash the daily utensils, Sadat initiated this project with other team members and students. It was his dedication and hard work that finished the whole project and it is a huge boost to adda cleanliness.
